Hi guys,

Sorry I haven't updated you in a while. Blyk has currently stopped giving out invites. This prevents anyone from joining at the moment. I do have assurances from a Blyk Rep that the invite service IS coming back. I will update you all when it is.

In the mean time I've opened up access to the Blyk community I've been working on. Consider this a public beta! Please sign up at http://blykcommunity.ning.com for all the news and updates

Hi Guys,

Just a quick post to say that in a forum discussion on Blyk involving Me, bellman101 and a Blyk customer service rep it was mentioned that Blyk might start to offer 1 invite per member per month guaranteed rather than the current 5 invites once in a blue moon!

This is great news for my current Blyk invite project which will allow Blyk members to give away their invites over the internet to you guys.

If your waiting patiently for an invite you may only need do so a little while longer!

Looks like none of the codes currently floating around the internet work. Also my original work around is now defunct.

However I have a new plan!

The original Blyk invite code work around no longer works however not all is lost!

Here is a list of keywords which you text to 82595 to receive invites. Ones which aren't working are listed in red. Unconfirmed ones are black and confirmed ones are green. I suggest trying it all capitals as this is how they are shown online.

This method no longer works. I'm trying to find a new work around. If you find one please comment below and I'll get it added to this main post.

Blyk is a mobile phone network for 16-24 year olds. The great thing about this network is it's free! You get £15 free credit a month to be used on sms, mms, calls and data. The catch is that you get a few adverts a month. These adverts however, are tailored to your tastes and interests and can even include money off coupons!

So, why isn't everyone on this network? Well joining is an invite only process. These invites are notoriously difficult to get hold of. You can get invites by asking someone already on the network to send you one but each member has a limited number of invites and each invite only lasts for a short period.

Companies which partner with Blyk use special links to allow you to join Blyk without an invite. If you use some clever google hackery you can find this special non-coded join page.

The link you want is the 3rd result down. The URL should read something like http://www.blyk.co.uk/join/(random numbers)
